This episode starts out with Quincy and them team wearing their snow outfits. Quincy says that they are in Alaska looking for totem poles! The team looks at a sign with the picture of a totem pole on it. The kids carry on down a snowy path until they reach what is known as “Totem Pole Forest!” There a tens of hundreds totem polls everywhere! All of the Totem Poles have different stories to tell as well! The kids listen to one story about a big bear who stole the sunshine. They listen to another about an eagle who protected a river of fish! The kids love the stories. Annie hears a music in the distance and the team goes to see what it is! When they get to the source of the music, they realize that it’s a Little Totem Pole! It’s a very small totem pole. Quincy asks to hear it’s story, but it admits that it doesn’t have one yet! Quincy promises that someday it will! Little Totem Pole jumps out and down excitedly when Quincy says this. He jumps so much out of control, he loses balance and slides down a slippery slope and lands on a very tiny piece of ice in the middle of a freezing river! The team panics! Leo whips out his baton! They make it their mission to get Little Totem Pole back to Totem Pole forest! The team runs to Rocket, who greats them with music.

BLAST OFF!!!

The team flies down to the River where Little Totem Pole fell. They look around but cannot find him anywhere! Annie thinks that maybe if she sings a song to call to Little Totem Pole, they will be able to find him! Annie makes up a quick song that goes with Little Totem Pole’s song, but Little Totem Pole does not answer. Rocket lowers his look-and-listen scope. Annie sings her song again and something answers back! But it’s not Little Totem Pole, it a group of seals. Annie tries again and this time a family of whales answer her call! She gives it one more try and sings her song once more. This time Little Totem Pole answers the call! The find him on the little piece of ice down the river! The ice is slowly melting too! Rocket soars over with his clapper catcher down. He is able to catch Little Totem Pole just in time! The bring Little Totem Pole to land where they will continue. Little Totem Pole thanks Annie by putting a large image of her in his story! Annie thanks Little Totem Pole as the continue.

Leo leads the team to a large icy cave in a wall of ice that they will need to go through to get back to Totem Pole Forest! Leo is cautious when he enters and he warns the team that because of the winding tunnels in the cave, the need to stick close together! He turns around to see that Little Totem Pole is the only one with him! The others got lost! Leo thinks that maybe he can regroup them if he pats a rhythm loudly and they will hear it! Leo gives it a try by patting a rhythm on his lap! Little Totem Pole helps by clicking on the ice! In no time, Quincy and June come along one of the paths, thanking Leo and Little Totem Pole. A little bit after that, Annie and Rocket come down another icy path to the team, also thanking Leo and Little Totem Pole. From there the team find the exit from the cave. Little Totem Pole rewards Leo for his quick thinking in the icy cave and puts Leo in his story! Leo thanks him as they continue. June points at a large mountain - Polar Bear Mountain! They just need to get over Polar Bear Mountain to get back to Totem Pole Forest! The team goes to Rocket to try and fly over the mountain, but Little Totem Pole has gotten to big to fit inside and will have to climb over polar bear mountain on foot! Quincy says that he will do it with him while the rest of the team follow inside Rocket! The whole team agrees as Quincy and Little Totem Pole set off up the mountain on foot.

Quincy and Little Totem Pole climb for a short while before Little Totem Pole starts shaking, and Quincy sees why; there is a big polar bear, right ahead of them. Quincy knows what to do though! He pulls out a flute and begins to play a nice soothing lullaby to the polar bear, In less than 10 seconds, Quincy gets the polar bear to fall fast asleep! They continue up the mountain before they see yet another polar bear! This one is bigger than the last one though. Quincy does the same thing with the flue, putting the white bear to sleep. They climb higher and are almost at the top when the see the biggest polar bear on Polar Bear Mountain! Quincy plays his flute and is able to put with polar bear in a deep sleep! Now they are at the top of the mountain and Totem Pole Forest is in direct sight! Rocket lands next to Quincy and Little Totem Pole, letting Quincy inside. For helping him so much, Little Totem Pole puts Quincy in his story as an image of Quincy pops up on Little Totem Pole as well as Leo and Annie. Quincy thanks him as they continue. Little Totem Pole sees home and hurries down the mountain sliding as fast as he can! The kids get inside Rocket!

BLAST OFF!!!

June is the first to see that if Little Totem Pole isn’t careful, he will run into a large tree on the way down the mountain! June helps Little Totem Pole by swooshing her arms from side to side, teaching him what to do. Little Totem Pole, as well as Rocket, uses this technique to get safely down the mountain. Little Totem Pole glides right past all of the tress and he makes it to the bottom! The kids get out of Rocket to congratulate Little Totem Pole on making it back home. Little Totem Pole thanks June and Rocket for the help and put them in his story too! When they look at Little Totem Pole now, he isn’t so little anymore! Little Totem Pole runs to the other totem poles to tell them his story! The kids help share the story with them and Leo then pulls out his baton.
