A Small and Deadly War is the title of an episode of the American television series, The A-Team. It originally aired in North America on February 15, 1983.

A police inspector Maloney seeks the A-Team's help in bringing down a renegade SWAT team that has been committing crimes for money. Maloney has written proof of the killer cops activities, but is afraid to take the information to his superiors (the killer cops threatened his family). The A-Team are wary at first since the military police and the local police to them are one in the same, but seeing how sincere Maloney is, and seeing a picture showing a sniper's position on his family, they decide to take the case. What the team plans to do is to get one of the bad cops to turn on his cohorts. However, doing this is easier said than done.
