"A Silver Boot For Sam" (2006) |
"A Silver Boot For Sam" was Lupen Crook's third single, released on Tap n Tin Records in October 2006. This was the second single to be taken from Lupen's debut album Accidents Occur Whilst Sleeping. This single showed a more mellow side to Lupen's music with a definite country influence. When questioned about the song on BBC Radio 6 Lupen explained that the lyrical content was about "a naughty night in Rochester". The single version of the song shortens the title from "Indigenous Syringes And A Silver Boot ...For Sam" to "A Silver Boot For Sam".
