Pirateology: A Pirate Hunter's Companion is a book created and published by the Templar Company plc in the UK and published by Candlewick Press in America in 2006. The book is supposedly the journal of Captain William Lubber in his pursuit of the pirate Arabella Drummond around the world. Pirateology is the fourth of four books in the 'Ology series, which also include Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons, Egyptology: Search for the Tomb of Osiris, and Wizardology: The Secrets of Merlin. The actual author is Dugald A. Steer, while the book was desgined by Nghiem Ta and features the artwork of Helen Ward, Ian Andrew and Anne Yvonne Gilbert.
