Shania: A Life in Eight Albums

Shania: A Life in Eight Albums is a Canadian television movie, which aired on CBC Television on November 7, 2005. A biopic of Canadian country star Shania Twain, the film was originally scheduled to air in October, but was delayed by the CBC labour dispute.

Shenae Grimes stars as Twain in her early teenage years, and Meredith Henderson plays Twain as an adult. The film also stars Megan Follows and Eric Schweig as Twain's parents, and Gordon Tootoosis as her grandfather.

Although Twain was raised primarily in Timmins, the movie was largely filmed in Sudbury. Vic Power, the mayor of Timmins, publicly criticized the filmmakers in 2004 for not producing the film in Timmins.

The film was produced by Barna-Alper, and directed by Jerry Ciccoritti.
