Fluorescent micrograph of Ashbya gossypii mycelium with DAPI labeled nuclei. Blue: nuclei (DNA), red: outline of the cell (phase contrast), inlay: A. gossypii grown on a full medium petri dish. Yellowish color is the result of riboflavin production.
