Crewel Lye: A Caustic Yarn is the eighth book of the Xanth series by Piers Anthony.
[edit] Plot introduction
This book primarily centers on the tale of the life of one of Castle Roogna's ghosts, Jordan the Barbarian, with the talent of healing (comparable to Wolverine's healing mutation in the world of Marvel), as viewed by The Tapestry (a magical tapestry which allows anyone to view what they want, based on their thoughts, though it cannot violate the adult conspiracy), and narrated by the ghost.
