A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the CBS network in 1973.

On Thanksgiving, the gang ends up having dinner at the ping-pong table with toast, popcorn, jelly beans and pretzel sticks which upsets Peppermint Patty. The dinner was catered by Snoopy and Woodstock after Peppermint Patty invited herself, as well as her friends Marcie and Franklin, to Charlie Brown's place for dinner. Despite much turmoil, Thanksgiving ends happily for the group with Charlie Brown's grandmother inviting the whole gang to her condo for dinner. Meanwhile, Snoopy cooks a traditional "turkey and pumpkin pie" dinner for himself and Woodstock.

The special won an Emmy Award in 1974.
