A Change of Face is an episode of Ben 10.

Max and Gwen come out in pilgrim costumes and Ben coming out last, thinking he looks like a dweeb. While they walk around town (with children taking pictures of them, thinking they are part of the town act) a building blows up and Charmcaster shows up. Charmcaster tries to swap identities with Ben, so she can get hold of Ben's Omnitrix power, but accidentally swaps with Gwen. To make matters worse, Gwen (in Charmcaster's body) is sent to a juvenile detention ward. Charmcaster (in Gwen's body) tries to cast another identity swap spell, but Ben ends up in Gwen's body and Gwen ends up in Ben's body.

- It's revealed that Gwen has a "magical aura" which enables her to utilize magic, thus explaining how Gwen was capable of using magic in Lucky Girl, Tough Luck, and Ben 10,000 (by which time she is a full-blown master magician). Her magical abilities would later be expanded upon in Under Wraps
- It can be assumed that Ben has a "magical aura" as well since Charmcaster want to be him so that she can have her spells "alien super charged" by the Omnitrix. This is supported when she says that such an aura is needed for her spells to work.
- At the end of the episode, Charmcaster loses both her mini-spellbook, which is now in Gwen's possession, and her magic bag, which was thrown into the ocean. However, although it seems like she's now powerless, it's still possible for her to return. She had supposedly lost her powers before in Tough Luck, only to have them return in this episode. Also, her bag was able to return to Charmcaster remotely when she was separated from it in the detention ward.
- Charmcaster wanted to change into Heatblast first if she got the Omnitrix, but Ben never used Heatblast against her or Hex, so she could not have known Heatblast was an option. It is possible, however, that she saw Heatblast on the news.
- In this episode Ben puts out the fire made by Charmcaster with Stinkflys spit, but in Grudge Match Kevins stinkfly-spit explodes in contact with fire. Because Heatblasts can contol the temprature of his fire it was sufficient enough for it to explode but with charmcasters apparent mild fire it gets put out.
- Charmcaster says "Transfera Identica"(change identities,in latin)

- The aliens used in this episode are Stinkfly, Diamondhead and Cannonbolt. probably because gwen was the main character in this episode.
