Wind: A Breath of Heart is a video game of the "interactive novel" genre (according to its creators). released in 2002 by minori. It was ported to the Sega Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 by Alchemist in 2003. It features dialog for all characters except for the protagonist. It has been adapted into anime and manga.
On 21 June 2006, an allegedly full fan translation of the game was distributed outside the fan translation group, after three years of production, but only to people who passed an extensive test to demonstrate that they purchased the game; this led to extensive discussions on the Internet.
On 6 February 2007, the same team released a full fan translation of the game to the general public. A demo translation is available.
