A Best 2 -White- is one of the two CDs of the 2nd greatest hits album by Ayumi Hamasaki . It was released on February 28, 2007 along with its counterpart A Best 2 -Black-. Both sets will be released in both 1CD+2DVD versions with limited version covers for each albums color. Both albums will feature songs between the release of her "evolution" single to her "Bold & Delicious/Pride" single. No songs off her latest album "Secret" will be featured on either album. A Best 2 -White- will include "Light" songs with "bright/cheerful/upbeat" lyrics while A Best 2 -Black- will be the opposite including "Dark" songs with "painful/heartbroken" lyrics. The 1DVD will include all PV's for the songs off the album. 2DVD will include her latest Countdown Live "Best of Countdown Live 2006-2007". On January 15 , 2007 this release has been confirmed by her Official website. On January 16 , 2007 track listing for both CDs were officially released. The album covers and DVD track listings were released on February 6th, 2007.

• *In both the & single and the Memorial address album, Bounceback is credited as the composer of this song. In the booklet for this album, though, Crea is credited as the composer. This was most likely a typing error. Avex released a new booklet (new cover included) with the right information.
• ** In the A Best 2 -White- First Pressing Edition booklet, the lyrics are mistyped. The lyrics include the first verse, hook, and chorus instead of the bridge that connects the second chorus to the repeat of the choruses at the end. This is included with the new booklet that corrects the Greatful Days err.
