A478 road

The A478 road is a major route in the Welsh counties of Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, connecting Cardigan (junction with the A487 road) and Tenby.

From north to south it runs through:

Cardigan;
— crosses the county boundary to Pembrokeshire
Pen-y-Bryn;
Rhoshill;
Blaenffos;
Crymych;
— crosses the county boundary to Carmarthenshire
Efailwen;
— re-crosses the county boundary to Pembrokeshire
Llandissilio;
— until around 2001 at this point the road re-crossed the county boundary to Carmarthenshire to between Clynderwen and the A40, but now after local government boundary changes it stays wholly in Pembrokeshire
Clynderwen and Clynderwen railway station;
— crosses the A40 road;
Narberth;
Templeton;
Begelly;
— crosses the A477 road;
Pentlepoir;
Wooden;
Moreton;
New Hedges;
Tenby.

The A478 is 30 miles in length.
