The A.M. Jensen Company was a department store established in Walla Walla, Washington in 1905 by Albert M. Jensen from acquiring the Skiles Dry Goods Company. In 1920 he built a new large store building on East Main Street where business prospered. In 1951 Allied Department Stores with The Bon Marche bought the company and changed the name to The Bon Marche. In 2005, the Bon's second owner, Federated Department Stores removed the Bon name from all of its stores, renaming them Macy's. Jensen's original building stands today, much as it did then, only as Macy's.
