A.C. Wharton

A C Wharton, Jr. is a Tennessee politician. Elected to a first term as Mayor of Shelby County in 2002, he was reelected easily in 2006. He is a Democrat from Memphis. He attended the historically black Tennessee State University in Nashville and graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School. He is married and has four sons.
He recently appeared on the GHS-TV show Crosstalk.
