The A. Vlaicu nr. 1 was an aircraft created in 1909 by Aurel Vlaicu, a Romanian engineer.

After much work this airplaine was finish in 1909, and was tested for the first time in 1910. from the first flight the airplaine had no need of changes. The plane was made by a sigle stik of aluminium long by 10 meters, who sustaine the entire plane, that made him very easy to fly.

In 1910 the Romanian Air Force bought ten planes from the CERCHEZ & CO factory. This planes where used in reconnaissance misions in the WW I
