The A2 Type submarine was a single submarine of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II, numbered I-12, and equipped with an aircraft. The design was similar to the A1 type submarine, except for weaker engine's, but a longer range.
- I-12 disappeared in January 1945, for unknown reasons.
