[edit] Templates

Hi. I noticed you added a number of {{NPOV}} templates to articles. You need to follow them up on the talk page with details of the nature of the dispute. Thanks. Guettarda 20:30, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Neutrality

Hi! I just wanted to point out that Wikipedia strives for a "neutral point of view" not your point of view. Hence, adjusting Bill Clinton to be less favorable and George W. Bush to be more favorable (i.e. shifting to a right-wing POV) is not desirable.--Scimitar parley 21:14, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] re: User:Hall Monitor

I am not an admin so if you have a problem with another user you can either politely discuss it with them in their talk page, on the article talk page or report it to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. Happy editing!--MONGO 00:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please watch your tone

I speak from experience when I tell you that you will end in ruin if you persist in "jabbering" in a hostile manner at other editors. I recommend you approach things this way:

  1. Smile.
  2. Bite yout tongue.
  3. Focus on your own editing.
  4. Document those issues which bother you on a notes page such as /problems.
  5. Do not exceed 3 reverts on any page in one 24 hour period.
  6. Don't try to "convince" editors who don't listen - instead, respond only to the issues they raise - not them personally.
  7. If you keep a list do not taunt editors by saying "you are on my list" or anything like that. Better to not even discuss your list.
  8. Keeping a list of "problems" will help you see the big picture and more easily discern between modest, ordinary SNAFUs and those editors/issues where closer inquiries would be in order.
  9. If you keeep a list, do not put threats or vulgarities on it ( ! ).
  10. Delete items from your list when they no longer bother you.

[edit] Edit summaries

Re: Bill Clinton: Please don't make misleading edit summaries. You wrote (rv anon blanking) when the previous edit was neither an "anon" nor "blanking", and your edit was not a revert but the removal of a number of words. [1] Please don't do it again. --Viriditas | Talk 06:17, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
