A-Tur (Arabic: الطور, meaning "The Mount" in Arabic) is a Palestinian village situated on the historic Mount of Olives approximately 1 km east of the Old City of Jerusalem. A-Tur is historically and geographically a part of East Jerusalem which in turn is a part of the West Bank, a territory acquired by Israel from Jordan in the Six Day War in 1967. The village of A-Tur was annexed along with all of East Jerusalem in 1967 by the Jerusalem Municipality, a move reaffirmed in 1980 by the Israeli Knesset.
