Aécio Neves da Cunha (pron. IPA: [a'ɛsiu 'nɛvis da 'kuɲɐ]; born March 10, 1960) is a Brazilian politician. He is the grandson of former president Tancredo Neves. In 1987, Neves was elected to the Federal Chamber of Deputies (House of Representatives) from his home state of Minas Gerais and served until 2002. He was president of the Chamber of Deputies (Speaker of the House) in 2001.
Aécio Neves is the current governor of Minas Gerais.
