9th Motorized Division (France)

The French 9th Motorized Division was a French Army formation during World War II.

During the Battle of France in May 1940, the division contained the following units:

  • 13 Infantry Regiment
  • 95 Infantry Regiment
  • 131 Infantry Regiment
  • 2 Reconnaissance Battalion
  • 30 Artillery Regiment
  • 230 Artillery Regiment

The division was an active division which had existed during peacetime. It was a fully motorized Infantry Division.
