An infrared image of Invest 98W, when the Joint Typhoon Warning Center issued a Tropical Cyclone Formation Alert for the disturbance on July 7, 2006. The Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California estimated the disturbance to have a pressure of 1004 millibars and winds of 20 knots at the time this image was taken. |
