The 95th Grey Cup will be held in Toronto at Rogers Centre on November 25, 2007. It will be the 46th Grey Cup hosted by Toronto since the championship's inception in 1909 and the first it has hosted since 1992. SkyDome/Rogers Centre has hosted two previous Grey Cups: the 77th Grey Cup in 1989 and the 80th Grey Cup in 1992. The Grey Cup festivities will begin with a four-day festival that will have over 50 events at several venues in Toronto including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and the CN Tower. On the weekend of the Grey Cup, there will be a "Celebration of Football" with games hosted at the Rogers Centre at amateur, high school, and university level, including the 43rd Vanier Cup, the CIS football championship. The Vanier Cup game will be held on Friday, November 23 at Rogers Centre. Over 20,000 tickets, with the price range of $79-529 CAD, were sold during a special one-day sale.[1]

Tickets for the 2007 Grey Cup went on sale through Ticketmaster on Thursday, March 1st. Patrons who purchased tickets for either the 100 level or 200 level of the Rogers Centre for the Grey Cup also received the identical ticket for the 2007 Vanier Cup.

Seating sections for the Grey Cup are named Platinum, Gold, Crimson, Cambridge and Oxford. The Cambridge and Oxford sections are a reference to the history of the Toronto Argonauts, who call the Rogers Centre their home. The Argonauts were founded in 1873 by the Toronto Argonaut Rowing Club. At the time the most renowned rowers in the world were the teams from Oxford University and Cambridge University in England, and the Toronto rowers adopted uniforms incorporating the two shades of blue used by the English schools. When the Argonauts expanded into football, the "double blue" uniform was used by the football team as well, and the practice caught on with other professional teams in Toronto, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Rock.
