This photo of NASA 928, WB-57F was taken from the NASA JSC website. I was program manager for the NASA operation at the time, (1995), and the following is the release information from the JSC Website...

"No copyright is asserted for any photos on this page. If a recognizable person appears in the photo, use for commercial purposes may infringe a right of privacy or publicity. It may not be used to state or imply the endorsement by NASA or by any NASA employee of a commercial product, process or service, or used in any other manner that might mislead. Accordingly, it is requested that if this photograph is used in advertising and other commercial promotions, layout and copy be submitted to NASA prior to release."

Since there is no discernable person in the photo, this is available for all but commercial endorsement purpoese.


Public domain This file is in the public domain because it was created by NASA. NASA copyright policy states that "NASA material is not protected by copyright unless noted". (NASA copyright policy page or JPL Image Use Policy).

Warnings:

  • NASA logos (which include the current "meatball" logo, the old "worm" logo, and the seal) are copyrighted.
