Albuquerque, New Mexico, August 18, 1930. (AP) Eddie Schneider 18 year old pilot attempting to set a new transcontinental flight record left Albuquerque at 7:40 am (Mountain Standard Time) today for Los Angeles expecting to finish his flight from New York without another stop.
