[edit] AFD notices
Do not remove an active AfD notice, as you have done here. As it clearly says in the text of the template: Please do not remove or change this AfD message until the issue is settled. Thank you. Nashville Monkey 10:59, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Second notice from me, 3 total, I will report you to an admin. Nashville Monkey 11:25, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Kalduny, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. codetiger 11:02, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kalduny
Did I do the editing wrong? Just wondering Nashville Monkey 12:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think is simply stupid to mark the aticle for deletion just because the person who does it doesn't know anything about the matter.
-
- You said: "Delete the whole Wikipedia. I thought the problem of Wikipedia is that anyone from the street can contribute, now I see, that another big problem is that the editors are idiots, imagining that "if I dont know the matter, I should delete it".—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.206.67.242 (talk • contribs)."
- You are wrong on both counts. The problem with Wikipedia is that there are people like you who spout off without reading our policies. Information has to be verifiable by reliable sources. Otherwise, when a reader encounters a topic with which they are unfamiliar, they are unable to judge the accuracy of our information. To turn your statement around, "If I know the matter, then it should be easy to write the article in such a way that it is referenced. Then it will be worth keeping and there will be no question of deleting it." If we were to do things your way and not question the veracity of our articles, we'd have to leave every unreferenced hoax or bit of originial reserach in Wikipedia. Thank you, but no. - Furthermore, as to your comment here, we work with the tools we have at hand. Search engines are part of those tools. As for discussion, we work on things through discussion, and we don't remove AfD tags while the mattter is being discussed. if you think "Discussion is dumb" then perhaps you need to find another hobby besides Wikipedia. - It seems the search engine is the only tool for you in this case, and this tool you are not able to use due to ignorance of necessary languages. There are a lot of more appropriate tags to express your doubts and ecouragements for improvement. As a consumer of such product as "koldūnai" (this is the form in my language), I can only smile reading your conciderations about possible "hoax". I can only say that I would never question the existence of any Chinese dish, arguing that I know nothing about Chinese cuisine and can't find more info on the Internet.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
