Please stop changing every mention of "GameCube" to "Gamecube". This is the name that has been decided; if you want to change it, please bring it up on the talk pages first. At the very least, you're breaking a lot of case-sensitive links when you do that. Thank you. --Golbez 18:07, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

Okay, sorry, it's just that I've always seen it spelled that way. I'll check next time. :-(
No problem. Welcome to Wikipedia :) --Golbez 18:20, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Oh, and thanks for reverting the other page I screwed up. :)

[edit] Wario

Please stop adding unnecessary stub and cleanup tags to the featured article. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 20:21, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry about that.
I added them because half the sections were missing and the order was messed up, but that was becaue of the vandalism thing. :-(
It's been reverted now anyway.

[edit] Wikipedia:Help Desk

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been removed or reverted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. — Knowledge Seeker 23:59, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Sigs

Please do not alter people's signatures. if you think soemone ought to use differnt markup in his or her signature, leave a msg for that person on his or her talk page. DES (talk) 00:20, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, but who's signature did you think I modified? I'm afraid I really don't remember editing anyone's sig. :/
Damn, I see what you mean now, and I swear it must have been accidental, I don't even know how it happened. I'll be more careful when editing pages now. -82.7.125.142 00:27, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
Is it possible that your browser does this automatically? Becaue it looks like you are tryign to make a point about html markup, and that is likely to get you reverted a lot. DES (talk) 00:34, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
What do you mean "make a point"? I've reverted bad markup in the past (see the history in Cheese to see just how bad it was when I did), but I don't do it often, and certainly not to user pages or sigs. As for my browser, I'm using Opera 7.54, which has never gaiven problems of this sort with before, so I'm really not sure what could be wrong...
Did I unwittingly mess up any other pages? -82.7.125.142 00:40, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Abu Ghraib

Yes, the pictures are horrific, but in the interests of transparency, there is no censorship on Wikipedia. Granted, these sorts of pictures are only placed where the appropriate context is given. You would not find these pictures in other articles. --HappyCamper 19:00, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

I understand now. I was just rather shocked by those pictures, that's why I posted the message about it. -82.7.125.142 19:06, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Portals

Hello 82.7.125.142 (considered getting an account?). I've noticed your concerns with Portals. Could you please raise them at Wikipedia talk:Portal? Myself and a few other editors have recognised a deficiency in the management of Portals, and are working (however slowly) to straighten them out. Specifically, I'm working on a more user-friendly design for Wikipedia:Portal that will hopefully clarify definitions better. With regards to your question about categories and Portals (at the Help Desk), this is only confusing because a few categories have been masquerading as Portals. This will hopefully be corrected in coming weeks. Thanks, --cj | talk 13:24, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Test templates (X1, X2, Y1, Y2...)

Once you're done with your testing, please drop me a note so I can delete all these templates, or list them on Wikipedia:Templates for deletion. Thanks! Owen× 17:14, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

I've just finished, actually. Go ahead and delete them. :) - 82.7.125.142 17:15, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Sign your name

Please Sign your name on articles. A quick way to do it is the four tidles. Z.Spy 16:45, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Italics

You might want to take at look at the Manual of Style at WP:MoS. My read of it is that titles are to be italicized, but names aren't (at least I couldn't find anything that said that, if you do, let me know where please). —Locke Cole 00:19, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
