Please try to understand this: The "gray zones" in the Aegean Sea are as frustrating to me many others as they are to you. However, they are a fact, and they are a source of constant tension between Greece and Turkey. By mentioning them we are not endorsing any Turkish claims, we are just telling the facts, that's all. [edit] Not exactly...

Thanks for your comments. The thing is, when you write history you have to be precise: the correct wording for this story (since you insist) would be the following:

"Turkey unilateraly claims that the Aegean borders between Turkey and Greece are disputable, contrary to the articles of the Laussane Treaty signed in 1923. Greece has been challenging Turkey for years to process its claims to the European Court in Hague and support the case with evidence. Turkey refuses that stubbornly."

Thanks again.

In that case, you should have added this yourself, and not on Greece, but on the Greco-Turkish relations article that deals with it specifically. Just don't delete content. Etz Haim 19:25, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)
