Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 81.197.218.62). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on [[User_talk:{{{1}}}|my Talk page]] – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Re:What's your problem?
Please assume good faith from other editors' contributions. I guess we both failed to follow that guideline... Fetofs 00:00, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Was vs. Is
Please don't go around changing Is to Was throughout Wikipedia. It's a convention of style to represent items which are obsolete in the past tense no matter how many remain in museums, collections, etc. Sure, you can find each of the weapons you edited in the inventory of some military or police unit somewhere in the world, however they are generally "Was" items and need to be treated as such to maintain continuity of style. --Asams10 19:51, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- So why Luger pistol is, but Karabiner 98k was, both are nearly as easy or hard to find from nearest gun shop?--81.197.218.62 19:55, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
More the same; Obregon is, Nambu was, .475 Wildey Magnum is, Bren Ten was...really there isn't any continuity of style.--81.197.218.62 20:06, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
...AG-42 is, Rasheed Carbine is, CZ-52 was, Armalite AR-7 was, Sako M90 was, Valmet M76 is - do I need to continue? There is not any logic between is or was. As common, as rare, as old, as new, in service, obsolete can be is or was in articles.--81.197.218.62 20:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Even better: M3 MAAWS is in category "Rifles of the United States"...seems little weird category choice.--81.197.218.62 20:44, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Browning Automatic Rifle is, M1 Garand was...--81.197.218.62 20:52, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Socks
So long as user:155.84.57.253 (aka user:CantStandYa/user:Shran) does not use a multitude of identities to skew consensus, he is not committing an offense just by editing. If he returns to using multiple identities please let me know. -Will Beback 23:49, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Ok--81.197.218.62 23:53, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
For the record, the editor of Browning HP is not "Cant Stand Ya." There are numerous users of the subject IP. Admin was no help eh? 155.84.57.253 13:54, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Is that somekind of threat? --81.197.218.62 14:31, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
No - paranoid much? 155.84.57.253 14:48, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
I think you should read this article, it might be some help to you: Dissociative identity disorder --81.197.218.62 15:02, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Ahh, aside from being a person who renegs, you fancy yourself a comedian as well. Read this - Delusional disorder. 155.84.57.253 19:14, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
So besides your multiple personalities, you also have delusions. Thats very interesting. --81.197.218.62 21:11, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Cool it, guys. The nickname of a gun is minor matter. "155" has provided sources, numerous if not all perfectly reliable, to show that it is a real nickname. Moving on, let's avoid negative personal comments. -Will Beback 21:53, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
