- I recommend that you get a user name by clicking . You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. As a registered user, you gain the use of an appropriate username of your choice, a personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you, the ability to start new pages, and much more. Also, your IP address, 81.181.0.35, will no longer be visible to other users.
- Talk pages, such as yours, which you are viewing now, are the way that Wikipedians communicate and leave messages or feedback for one another. All information placed on a talk page is publicly viewable, permanently archived, and usable by anyone for any purpose. Hi. If you are the same person who wrote the comment on Backdraft (drink), I was wondering if you would be willing to work with me a bit and help to rewrite that article so it will not be deleted again. One thought is to just integrate it in to the Flaming beverage article. The other thought is that if we can locate enough verifiable information about the drink, then we might be able to build the article up enough to stand on its own. Please let me know if you are interested in helping. Thanks! Congratulations on figuring out how to reply to my message. You did great. I added a several more hints and tips at the top of this page to help you get started.
I definitely appreciate your input on the backdraft article. Unfortunately, Wikipedia's policies require verification of all information from published, reliable sources, with that information properly cited. Personal experiences are considered "original research", and are not acceptable for corroborating an article's information. Your difficulty in finding other information about this drink is the same problem I have faced while attempting to improve this article in the past. I'm convinced that it exists (and your experience reinforces that belief), but I can't find very much information to confirm that to Wikipedia's standards of proof. Any help you can provide me in tracking down verifiable information about the drink will really be appreciated.
