[edit] Greetings from feydey

Please register to Wikipedia. Since this IP You are editing with might be used by someone else shortly, it is better to register to avoid these false warnings. Removing of warnings, proper or not, is not allowed. With best, feydey 10:13, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Retraction

Following a detailed explanation of the background of this case by User:Aquillion, I retract my warning, and simply ask you to be patient with other Wikipedians, who are neither all-knowing nor perfect. This would have happened more quickly had you told me the story in the first place, but that's OK; I shouldn't have assumed it was your fault anyway. Realize that you editing under an IP address creates some bias in the eyes of many, since anonymous users do the vast majority of vandalism to Wikipedia. But, in fact, the ability to edit anonymously is what makes Wikipedia nearly unique, and so this bias is largely uncalled for.

Anyway, good luck, and happy editing. TheJabberwʘck 04:19, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

It was a third level warning, for three seperate cases of vandalism, which I have explained. Wikipedia policy crearly states in case of a disagreement, blind reverts are not the way forward. I consistently put the article back to its original state to counter the unregistered user's mix-and-matching. If I see the user do the same again, I',ll warn him again, and again, and again. I've even followed his way of moving discussion sections around in another article to show him/her the absurdity of it. There's a line you're very close to and you're playing here. If you look at the diff, it was a first-level warning ({{test}}) given for the third time. Hopefully we can just forget about it and move on. TheJabberwʘck 14:49, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] targetted & targetting

I have reverted these changes. I cannot find an on-line dictionary that validates that these are correct. In particular, Onelook, which searches multiple dictionaries including US & UK, does not show them as valid. Do you have a source to validate these as correct? Thanks. -- JLaTondre 20:45, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cost-weighted activity index

The anonymous editor effectively deleted the article, without contacting me and without even going through the process of nominating it for deletion. If he/she or you would like to create an account and e-mail me, I would be happy to discuss. Alternatively, let him/her nominate it for deletion, and I will defend it. Wiped the entire contents and turned it into a redirect. It is mathematically a Laspeyres index but it is not a price index; it is measuring something different, and the point of the article is what it is measuring. --Runcorn 19:24, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
And I have added two references. --Runcorn 19:54, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for going through the radio articles and cleaning them out. You may think no one notices your mainly thankless work, but those of us on recent changes patrol do see it. Just wanted to thank you and good luck on your future edits. --mboverload@ 10:46, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why not get a name?

If you're going to nominate articles for AfD, why not register and get a name, so you can complete the process? Only takes about 30 seconds. Fan1967 19:34, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rapunzel Unbraided

Do you really feel eager to want the article deleted?? Georgia guy 13:19, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
