My name is René van Buuren, I'm a Dutch male 16-year-old, interested in physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, relativity, quantum mechanics, and various other fields of science, as well as language, specifically English and Dutch (I correct people whenever I see fit), and computers. To me, this is the ONLY correct way of denoting things:

  • B=byte
  • b=bit
  • 1 B = 8 b
  • k=kilo=10^3
  • M=mega=10^6
  • G=giga=10^9
  • T=tera=10^12

Etc. see SI system of units

  • Ki=kibi=2^10
  • Mi=mibi=2^20
  • Gi=gibi=2^30
  • Ti=tibi=2^40
