7 Colenso Mount

7 Colenso Mount is a house in a densely packed 19th century district of Holbeck in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The district, is a deprived area consisting mainly of back-to-back houses.

Hasib Hussain, the "Holbeck suicide bomber" was living at 7 Colenso Mount with his brother Imran and sister-in-law Shazia, before he travelled to London on the 7th of July 2005 to take part in the 7/7 London Bombings. Hussain was the terrorist who exploded his bomb on a double-decker bus in the north-east corner of the Tavistock Square, outside the British Medical Association(BMA) building, resulting in 13 fatalities.

Before Hussain went to London with Khan and Tanweer, all three men travelled to 18 Alexander Grove, Hyde Park, Leeds where the flat was used as a bomb factory to make the homemade bombs. Throughout the night, they put their bombs into rucksacks into a cooling box to remain stable, they travelled south towards Luton Train Station where they befriended the "fourth bomber" aka "Outsider" at around 7.20AM. Then they made the long trip towards London's King's Cross.

On the evening of the July 6, 2005, Londoner's were celebrating the host of being the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Up North in Leeds, three muslims are playing Cricket Tanweer's favourite sport as well as Hussain's are enjoying themselves for the evening before they set off for their mission that starts off in secrecy and ends in carnage making headlines around the world. At 10.30pm, a phone call appears from a house in Leeds which ends being Hussain's Mother saying that her son went to London with friends for a couple of days, in fact her son had murdered 13 people on the No. 30 Hackney Wick Bus in Tavistock Square, Camden.

On the doorstep of 7, Colenso Mount was Scotland Yard detective's searching for explosives in Hussain's home. When identified by Police at the scene in Tavistock Square Hussain's remains are scattered along from the BMA Building to the red post box a little further down the Bus Lane. The forensics identify Hussain as the Suicide Bomber on the bus and Lindsay on the tube under the street in Russell Square off Bernard Street between Tesco Express and Russell Supermarket adjacent to Judd Street. The bomb in the carriage itself went off under Judd Street Surgery.
