I don't know about the accuracy of this, since the first google hit is a mention on an urban legend website [1]. Not a dog 04:24, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

On the contrary, the source you just cited confirms that 7500 is the hijack transponder code! The first lines of the article are about landing flaps during taxi that do NOT mean the plane is being hijacked. I'm removing your tag. -- AirOdyssey (Talk) 04:28, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
