Which weapons were made in this fairly unique caliber? This is what I know:

  • Mkb 42
  • MP43/MP44/StG 44
  • Volksgewehr/StG 45
  • FAL prototypes
  • DDR-rechambered Kar98s

I encountered a fellow who had a single-shot handgun, one of those Thompson Center Contenders or bolt-action pistols, in 7.92 kurz (he said it was an excellent caliber for that purpose), but I have no idea whether it was a production model or not. Twalls 18:46, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
