Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 72.24.79.46). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Pyrospirit Talk Contribs 03:28, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[1] Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did here: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/A. B.. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Hu12 18:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Hu12 I was not trying to attack. I just wanted everyone to know the facts before making their selection. Is there a way I can oppose? Just because you think different than me doesn't mean I am wrong. I just want my opinion or voice heard. I really don't want to attack or offend anyone. I simply just want to oppose and for others to know why I oppose. How can I do this? I didn't find the information from the article you left earlier.

It has not begun, so there is no opposing it. --Hu12 02:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for replying. How do I earn a username?

You don't "earn" a username. All you do is click Sign in/Create account at the top of the window, click Create a new account, and enter the username and password you want. That's all there is to it. I'll post the welcome message at the top of your talk page, since it seems you never got it. Pyrospirit Talk Contribs 03:25, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The request for adminship

I took a look at it in response to your edit on my talk page, and all I see is a somewhat blank RfA and a very short history. If someone was actually deleting the history, there's nothing I can do. I'm not an admin or anything. If you really think something's going on, you should report it to the appropriate place (not sure where). Pyrospirit Flames Fire 18:14, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Although looking at it, it seems more like you put a random personal attack on the page. The logs show no history deletions or page deletions. I'd recommend just letting it drop; only signed-in editors are supposed to vote in RfAs anyway. Pyrospirit Flames Fire 18:18, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
