[edit] Signature on "discussion" pages

Hi, one must always "sign" their pages (if only with their IP address) on "discussion" pages. This is done by typing four tildes after your comment, then clicking "Save page." Let me know if you have any further questions. Badagnani 10:37, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

not trying to discount you, but just wondering where is this policy stated? thx

Sorry, can't provide more than Help:Talk page. That's where I learned how to participated in "discussion" pages and I follow what it says there. This is a community and all participants are asked to identify themselves, if only with their IP address. If you'd like to know more, I suppose you could post on the "discussion" page of that help page. Badagnani 20:32, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I resent your comments and you are way off base. You don't know who I am and i don't know who you are. That IS Wikipedia. If you can't supply a source we will not include you. If you don't mellow your comments we will block you. I am a fluent speaker of Chinese and live in a Chinese speaking country, so back off if I choose the wrong English word.... It makes you sound less authoritative. I offered to put you in contact with other experts and the authors of several articles to ask them why they chose their terminology, but instead you resort to insults.Maowang 00:09, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
