[edit] Your Recent Edits
Hi, I'm not sure about a number of your recent edits. You have replaced a number of REDIRECTs with copy and paste information from the article they were redirecting to, for example Well tank. Unless you are adding more information to Well tank than is in the "parent" article Tank locomotive, this isn't achieving anything. Similarly your reverts on the Culdee Fell Railway locomotive pages isn't helpful. These actually contain less information than the main Culdee Fell Railway pages. Could you let me know what you are trying to achieve with these changes? I'd be happy to help you get the result you are looking for. Thanks, Gwernol 02:05, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I see you are continuing to add spurious information about the Culdee Fell Railway to Wikipedia. As far as I can tell there is no book called "Mountain Diesels" by Christopher Awdry. It is not sold as Amazon.co.uk and a Google search does not find it. It is very important that all information in Wikipedia articles is verifiable; that means you have to provide reliable sources that show where the information came from. Please see the talk page for more on this. Thanks, Gwernol 11:35, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi, please read my messages above carefully. The edits you are making are not helpful and I am going to remove them again. As I explained, creating sub-articles that have less information than the main article is the wrong thing to do. Please take a moment to explain to me what you are trying to achieve before you change the articles back. My talk page is currently protected from vandalism, but you can leave a message here and I will see it. Thanks, Gwernol 22:44, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi, it is very important that Wikipedia articles have appropriate sources so they can be verified. This is a core principle of Wikipedia and one of the few rules that is absolutely non-negotiable. You keep adding unsourced and unverified information to the Culdee Fell Railway article. Please provide sources for this, either in the article or on the Talk page, where there is an ongoing discussion of this.
If you persist in adding back the unsourced information, you will be vandalizing Wikipedia and will likely be blocked from editing this article. Please take a moment to join the discussion at Talk:Culdee Fell Mountain Railway. Thanks, Gwernol 16:00, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi since you are apparently unwilling to work with other editors to achieve consensus and continue to make inappropriate and damaging changes to Wikipedia, I have to conclude that you are deliberately trying to be disruptive. As a result, this is a formal warning:
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 16:05, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Final warning. Please read carefully
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 16:13, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Please take a moment and discuss this with me and other involved editors before you are blocked. Simply changing articles to what you want is not acceptable behavior on Wikipedia. We work by reaching a consensus. This really is your final warning. Thanks, Gwernol 16:13, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Please stop with the adding of nonsense to TTTE-related articles. There is clearly no "http://www.google.co.uk/search?hs=Ers&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=%22Bluenose+the+Strict+Engine%22&btnG=Search&meta=Bluenose+the+Strict+Engine]. — Dunc|☺ 18:52, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm telling you, he is from Own Character Ideas And Images. This page mentions him, but there isn't a picture of him added. Felix 20:30, 22 July 2006
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to GNR Stirling 4-2-2, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 17:11, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please take a moment to reply
You are continuing to make disruptive changes to Wikipedia without discussing them with anyone first. Please take just a short moment to drop me a note on my Talk page. Just click this link and add a comment at the bottom of my page. The changes you are making are not acceptable and will continue to be reverted. You are very close to being blocked, perhaps permanantly, from making edits to any article on Wikipedia. Just get in touch and explain why you are making these changes and I can help achieve your goals in a way that is compatible with the rest of the work being done here.
Again, this may be your last opportunity, so please take one minute and discuss this with me or with the wider Wiki trains community. Thanks, Gwernol 20:07, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Final Warning for disruption and refusing to discuss changes
Since you refuse to discuss your changes despite many requests that you do so:
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 18:54, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 13:06, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
You have been blocked in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating policy against disruption, persistent editing against consensus without discussion. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list.
Note to sysops: Unblocking yourself should almost never be done. If you disagree with the block, contact another administrator. Petros471 14:03, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your own Fanfic
Please stop adding links to fan fiction "Thomas the Tank Engine" locomotives that you have made up. Wikipedia is not for things you made up. If you persist in adding these links you will once more be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks, Gwernol 21:15, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Gwernol 21:27, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Another block
You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires.
You have been blocked again for continuing to make disruptive edits against community consensus. Your refusal to discuss these changes is a critical issue leading to you being blocked. These blocks will continue to lengthen if you refuse to work with the rest of the community. Please reconsider your actions and work with other editors to reach a reasonable compromise. Thanks, Gwernol 00:13, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I edit pages earlier. Can you show me where to send a message to Christopher Awdry?
[edit] Forgiveness
I'm sorry about editing. FelixCheng 18:19, 2 July 2006
[edit] Sending a message to Christopher Awdry
Hi. Can you show me where to e-mail Christopher Awdry? I need to send a message to him: Make a book called Mountain Diesels and New Engines. When he will completes the book, I'll tell him to sell it in stores in the whole world and in Amazon.co.uk, So that way you'll re-add Norm, Betty, Phyllis, George and the other engines from the Culdee Fell Railway. FelixCheng 18:19, 2 July 2006.
- Hi Felix, I doubt that anyone on Wikipedia will be able to tell you Mr. Awdry's contact details. Your best approach is to write to his publisher - that's usually the way to get in touch with an author. However most authors and publishers don't accept story ideas from readers, as a matter of policy. I don't know if this would be true of Mr. Awdry or his publisher, of course. Good luck, Gwernol 23:36, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pleading
Please, Gwernol. I want to e-mail Christopher Awdry.
- I understand, but I don't know his email address, so I can't give it to you. I think its unlikely that anyone else on Wikipedia has it either. Sorry, Gwernol 23:50, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Basises of the additions from the Culdee Fell Railway
I really want to e-mail Christopher Awdry. I'll show you the basises of the additions from the Culdee Fell Railway.
Norm-Ninian Betty-Yeti Phyllis-Peris George-George (same name, get it?) Billy-A steam engine from the Schneebergbahn Bonnie-A steam engine from the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway Maisy, Nate and Rover-All three railcars from the Snowdon Mountain Railway Malfoy-A steam engine from Mount Washington Cog Railway Carl-A steam engine from the Drachenfels Railway Judy-A steam engine from the Budapest Cog-wheel Railway Cassidy-A steam engine from Nilgiri Mountain Railway Kate-A diesel-electric engine from the Brünigbahn Winston-A Ruston and Hornsby Class 48DL (the one owned in the Snowdon Mountain Railway 1972-78) Todd-A steam engine from the Brienz Rothorn Railway Grover-A steam engine from the Achenseebahn Railway Hector-A steam engine from Mount Generoso
Can Christopher publish that book? Because when it is sold in Amazon.co.uk, you'll re-add the additions.
Felix 18:52, 2 July 2006
- If Christopher Awdry published that book then this information certainly should be published on Wikipedia. Unfortunately most publishers won't accept unsolicited story ideas from readers since its creates a legal liability. It may be that Mr. Awdry's publisher would accept your story idea, but you'd have to ask the publisher and I doubt they are on Wikipedia. Good luck, Gwernol 00:35, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Characters from Own Character Ideas And Images
By the way, Gwernol, why did you delete the In fiction parts from those articles, SR Merchant Navy Class, French PL241P, GNR Class C2, LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0, SR Schools Class, SR Z Class and LB&SCR B1 Class? I mean, Jordon and Oakley were based on the Merchant Navy, Donvito on the 241P, Ernie on the C2, Bluenose on the 8F, Vernon on the Schools Class, Luke and Tracey on the Compound Classes, Siegfried on R&ER's Synolda, Poppy the Pink Engine on the Z Class and Gladis on the LB&SCR B1 Class. You've got to believe me. I learned those characters from this link Own Character Ideas And Images.
Felix 18:59, 2 July 2006
- Because the source you quote is a web page that someone has put up with their own ideas for new characters. These characters have never appeared in official Railway Engines books. Wikipedia is not for things someone made up. Its an encyclopedia and that means it reports on things that have themselves become notable. These characters are not notable. Sorry, Gwernol 00:37, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Season 10
Will the Culdee Fell Railway be televised in Season 10 in Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends?
- I don't think anyone (outside of HIT Entertainement) knows right now, since the only reliable information we have is a brief press release on the HIT website. That doesn't mention the Culdee Fell Railway, so there is no evidence to suggest it will appear. Gwernol 00:39, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unfair
It's not fair! I want to see Culdee on television.
Felix 20:04, 2 July 2006
[edit] Rest of the message
It's been ages and Culdee hadn't appear on TV. I want him to appear in Season 10. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FelixCheng (talk • contribs) .
[edit] Own Character Ideas And Images
Is Own Character Ideas And Images notable? It's the source of Jordon and those new characters. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FelixCheng (talk • contribs) .
- No it isn't, as I mentioned above. Wikipedia is not for stuff someone made up one day. Please read my replies before posting the same questions over and over. Thanks, Gwernol 01:19, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unfair again
It isn't fair Culdee won't appear in Season 10. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FelixCheng (talk • contribs) .
[edit] Season 10 Characters
What colour is Rosie the Tank Engine and what is she based on? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FelixCheng (talk • contribs) .
[edit] End of line
Is Rosie going to be based on a SR Z Class, painted pink? Felix 20:27, 2 July 2006.
[edit] Listening
Hello! Gwernol! Didn't you listen to me?! Is Rosie going to be based on SR Z Class and painted pink?! Felix 20:37, 2 July 2006.
- I have no idea. As I mentioned above, the only reliable information about Season 10 that I or anyone else has is from the HIt press release. Please read that. Beyond that I simply don't know. Gwernol 01:52, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Illustrator Clive Spong
Is Clive Spong, the illustrator of the Railway Series books, alive?
I said "IS CLIVE SPONG ALIVE?" Felix 21:04, 2 July 2006
[edit] Asking again
Hello! Gwernol! IS CLIVE SPONG ALIVE OR NOT?
Felix, 16:52, 3 July 2006.
[edit] Asking again and again
Are you ignoring me?! I asked you "Is Clive Spong alive or not?"
Felix 16:58, 3 July 2006
Please answer me, Gwernol. Is Clive Spong alive or not and I'm wondering.
Felix 17:48, 3 July 2006
[edit] Culdee Fell Railway
When is the Culdee Fell Railway, its engines, coaches and trucks appear in the TV Series? It felt like it's been ages!
