[edit] Atanasoff-Berry Computer

Look, I thank you for your work in various computer-related articles here. I would like to ask, hoever, that you be a bit more judicious about where you add information about the Atanasoff-Berry Computer, the diagram of its construction, and the 1970s court case. While the information definitely belongs in some articles about computer history and the ABC itself, it's inappropriate to add the text to articles like CPU, Computer, and UNIVAC, which all focus on subjects somewhat removed from the scope of the ABC. When in doubt, it's best to propose your additions on an article's talk page before adding them. Contrary to your assertion, I am not trying to modify history, but you are being unreasonable in attempting to add information about this computer to articles that don't even have any relevance to it. Please be more careful and thank you again for your contributions! -- uberpenguin 03:42, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

I actually think that there is reason to mention ABC's capacitor-based memory preceding DRAM. I added a reference to Primary storage. DHR 04:59, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
