Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Whereizben - Chat with me 18:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Who are YOU to remove references that were appropriate to the topic? What are YOUR qualifications to say anything about the discovery of Brazil? The references were made by a professional historian who has published definitive work on the early history of Brazil. What have YOU published on the topic? And who are you to say that an article by Professor Diffie is "unconstructive?" Do you know more than he about the topic? I doubt it.

[edit] Ignoramuses on the loose

is the situation with this article. When a knowledgable person added some references, they were removed as "unhelpful" by one of the know-nothings who write most of Wikipedia. Too too funny.

[edit] Response

Your entry was removed not necessarily because the information was wrong, but the method in which you have added information, as well as your name calling is not acceptable for wikipedia. Please be civil in your discussions, and if you have something to add, do so constructively. I have added a welcome message for you so that you can read up on what to do. Thanks, and I hope you are able to help improve the articles here!

What should have been removed were the nonsensical posts of Dr. Lisboa, the know-nothing who thinks he knows more than professors from Cambridge University, Oxford University, and the University of Virginia. He was the name caller; I simply responded to the imbecile in kind. My posts were constructive but an ignoramus constantly challenged them. The problem with Wikipedia is the lack of competent people writing articles. You allow know-nothings like Dr. Lisboa free rein but not someone who knows whereof he speaks. No wonder Wikipedia is not worth much in many cases.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Order of Christ (Portugal), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Xiong Chiamiov :: contact :: 03:01, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

This anonymous editor is persistently acting rudely towards everyone he interacts with. He is continuously attempting to insert obvious fallacies in to articles based on a very superficial and amateurish knowledge of the subject. He quotes books and sources he's never even read. When challenged to justify his alterations he is never able to, and so out of frustration and embarrassment, he resorts to cowardly abuse that he would not dare say to their face. He will have to have his IP address blocked as he is completely useless and counterproductive to Wikipedia. His ISP is Dakota Communications in Tucson, Arizona. They operate IPs in the 69.9.0.0 - 69.9.31.255 range. Abuse can be reported to them by e-mailing Admin@DakotaCom.NET.--Dr Lisboa 17:26, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
