[edit] RE: David Wood
Hi, please read through the guidelines before tinkering with the disambiguation functionalities.--Downwards 01:40, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's inappropriately dismissive to characterize it as "tinkering"; see Talk:David Wood for response. 69.3.70.175 02:09, 28 April 2006 (UTC).
- It's an appropriate description of what you did as it is clear have little idea of the implications of what you are doing. I hope that you realise you effectively erased an article through your actions.
- That's an unfair characterization as well. As I'm sure you know, it is incredibly easy to recover any version of an article at any time; you did so when you reverted it, and I did so when I initiated the discussion at Talk:David Wood by including the disambiguation page I had created. 69.3.70.175 (talk • contribs) 02:26, 28 April 2006 (UTC).
- "David Wood the basketball player" defaults to David Wood because he is the only "David Wood" on wikipedia with an article. To further your cause, I assume you want to create another "David Wood" article. For that, you need to create an account. Thanks. --Downwards 02:18, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
