[edit] Three Revert Rule

You might want to inform yourself on the 3 Revert Rule, WP:3RR. Violating it can - and most likely will - get you blocked. Just wanted to tell you so that you can't say you didn't know about it. -- AlexR 10:08, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] A suggestion

Angela, I actually mean this in the nicest way possible: you really need a hobby. Very. Badly.

I already have lots of hobbies.

Perhaps you should look at your contributions to Wikipedia as a whole. The majority of the time you do any substantial edit, you are shot down rapidly and repeatedly by numerous people.

This is false. Most of my edits have either gone unchallenged or received agreement. You are either lying or simply mistaken here.

People have locked their talk pages because of your idiocy.

Let's see. You're the one who claims that women are innately less sexual than men, and I am the idiot? And I have never seen a talk page get locked because of me.

You have been threatened with the three revert rule repeatedly, and have a bizarre desire to mix your particularly virulent perversion of feminism with an intense interest in female porn and sexuality.

What the hell is bizarre about being a pro-porn, pro-sex feminist? Nothing at all, as many feminists are highly interested and supportive of porn (witness ACLU leader Nadine Strossen's "Defending Pornography," uberfeminist Susie Bright who writes for porn mags, Carol Queen who makes porn, etc.). But given your sexist belief that women lack any substantial sex drive compared to men, I can see why you would call this "bizarre."

Now everyone has a bad pissing match once in a while, but perhaps you need to take the hint evident in the reaction that you elicit in the majority of people here.Nick

I do not elicit a negative reaction from the majority of people here. You and a couple other sexist pretend-boys do not constitute a majority anywhere. I will largely post under a different name from now on, so as to get away from your harassment.

Nobody has been harassing you in the first place, and the two of us were not the only ones to disagree with you, either. However, it is a good thing you finally want to get a username - and personally, I am not particularly worried that using one will make you invisible. You know, you have a rather unique style. Oh, any while you are at it, you might want to read up several wikipeida policies, including the one that prohibits ad hominem attacks. -- AlexR 07:14, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
You mean you've amassed such a negative reputation by your comments that you prefer to start anew under another name. Fair enough, Angela, as I believe I probably said some things when I was your age that I would be unhappy to admit to now. However, if nothing else, I hope you eventually learn to lose the intolerance and bigotry.
  • Simply because someone is different from you or you don't understand their experience, that doesn't make their life invalid.
  • Not everything is about feminism nor is everything that has to do with sex and gender inherently derogatory to women.
  • Some of the beliefs you hold about gender and sexual binaries are neither logical nor based on any natural empirical evidence. Nature loves variety, society hates it. And you embody this statement in all that you have said about transgender people thus far.
I hope you can learn some understanding that people who aren't like you are no less valid and no less human. But then, I am hoping for that for society as well. Sigh. Nick
