[edit] Linking to your(?) site
I don't know of any specific policy against it, but it does not seem like it's very useful to put links to http://astronomyonline.org/ on every astronomy-related page on Wikipedia. At the very least, it would be nice if you could identify a specific page on the site that relates to the article you're linking from. —HorsePunchKid→龜 04:49, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
- I second that, and I'm going to remove it from the articles. Please stop spamming articles with links to your site. Shanes 04:52, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
- I just removed your links from a number of pages. If you wish to link to your site, please do so from a single, relevant page after checking to make sure your site provides significant, useful information on the topic. Bushytails 04:56, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- I just removed the newer links that pointed to a specific page. In each case, the page on your site did not seem to add anything to the article, and in most cases was far shorter and less informative than the article. If, at some point your site is significantly expanded, then you can condsider adding them again, but for now, Wikipedia is not a repository of links. Bushytails 06:08, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
