[edit] Contributions to Mark Geier

From your recent edits and your IP address, it appears that you may be particularly close to Dr. Geier, if not Dr. Geier himself. This is just a friendly reminder of the danger of bias issues that can affect your contributions to the biographical article. To avoid problems, please allow content to be added by third parties and discuss new issues on the article's talk page. Thanks! -- Tim D 07:30, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Autobiographical editing by Dr. Geier

Dr. Geier, your contributions to the article are appreciated. Please be aware, however, that it may be very difficult for someone so intimately related to this article's topic to write entirely neutrally. It is for this reason that editors are strongly discouraged from writing their own biographies, though your participation on the article talk page – as you have been doing – is welcomed. Please don't engage in an edit war over the content of this – or any – Wikipedia article. First and most importantly, it will not resolve any issues over disputed content. Second, it may result in a suspension of editing privileges.

If you wish to be respected and taken seriously here, then get an account and only edit using it. Here is what Wikipedia's founder has to say:

  • "Sorry, but anon ip numbers do not have the same civil rights as logged in members of the community. If you want to be a good editor, get an account, make good edits. I really don't care about your complaint as currently stated.--Jimbo Wales 13:23, 8 September 2006 (UTC)" [1]

Under the WP:BLP rules here, you will have certain rights, but you do not have a right to remove negative information just because it is negative. It must also be potentially libelous. Discuss such problems, edits, or deletions on the talk page first. -- Fyslee 09:33, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

This user has or does edit using the following user names:

The last one is a very serious matter, as it is a misuse of Kathleen Seidel's name. She is webmaster for neurodiversity.com. -- Fyslee 21:26, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where is my 3RR violation?

Here you claim I am in violation. Please provide the diffs showing my violations. I certainly haven't been aware of any. You also make some untrue attacks. You are to WP:AGF. My motivations are stated. You simply aren't editing properly. You fail to format your messages or sign properly. You won't be taken seriously until you learn how things are done here. Now where am I in violation of the 3RR policy? -- Fyslee 22:19, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
