[edit] Edits to The Prestige
Please stop adding information that can't be verified, such as the two non-existent characters you added to The Prestige's cast list. I see this isn't the first time you've had this issue, so please add only facts to articles. Jim Dunning 03:16, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Zach Tyler Eisen
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test of deliberately adding incorrect information worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. —Viriditas | Talk 07:02, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Film contributions
69.119.119.178, I notice movies are a favorite of yours. Thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikipedia's growing information about Hollywood and its celebrities. As a suggestion, you should consider provding source citations for many of your contributions. It appears that you might be using fan websites and message boards for your information. This is a good starting point, but you should first verify it at recognized sites like IMDB before adding the information to a Wikipedia article. Since the IMDB staff puts the information through a vetting process before allowing it to be published, your contribution will not be challenged, especially if you put a citation reference on the article page.
Also, since horror and teen films are a focus, you should consider putting spoiler tags around your listings of deaths and survivors so casual readers and researchers alike are treated to unexpected information about a film they haven't seen yet.
Thanks again for your help with Wikipedia and especially an area I like since I'm a member of the Films WikiProject. Good luck! Jim Dunning 12:18, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit to The Prestige (film)
Since you can't adhere to the warnings about adding false information...
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 23:45, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia because of disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, including page blanking or addition of random text, spam, or deliberate misinformation; privacy violations; personal attacks; and repeated and blatant violations of WP:NPOV will not be tolerated.
