[edit] West Highland White Terrier

Hi. Thanks for your good faith contributions to the above. However, if I can quote you: "if you pick them up while asleep, you get a piercing snap" and "if they see an animal they don't know, they bark like crazy". It may be the case that a Westie of your experience has gone through the actions you describe, but not all Westies react that way, and the article West Highland White Terrier is designed, like all other Wikipedia articles, to be informative and not cautionary. As for the dog having naps to allow owners to leave it for hours on end, this is speculative, and is not recommended. I have therefore removed these additions. The reference to children is a sound one, but it's easier to say "children" than "young and old children". Thanks. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 03:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
