Stop editing back incorrect information please. I don't want to take the time to report the offense to an admin. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.5.241.194 (talk • contribs).
Please stop. If you continue to blank or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Luminoth Temple, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- lucasbfr talk 01:17, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- What content did I remove? Thanks.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.5.241.194 (talk • contribs).
- you removed the AfD Notice. Doing so won't stop the debate about this article. -- lucasbfr talk 01:21, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
The debate has come to a conclusion. The arguement against the Wiki was an arguement that could be used against all forums on Wikipedia. Read Lupus Gemini's comment.
- Actually, there are only two or three other forums on WP. The only one I can think of off hand is the NSider, which passes the 1.b and 3 requirements of WP:Notability. Additionally, the NSider is a public forum with a user base ~200k User base. --ShadowJester07 01:36, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
You also have to remember that the Luminoth Temple was a promotional program such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_love_bees, although that aspect of it seems to be downplayed in the Wiki.
- The I love bees phenomena apprentlly received recognition and awards from, see I Love Bees#Awards from official and legitimate sources (meeting WP:Notability's 2nd Requirement). The fact that LT carried out promotional purposes is mentioned in the Luminoth Temple#Creation, and in Metroid Prime 2 page. --ShadowJester07 02:48, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
I know, I am not saying that it wasn't recognized, but it was a lot bigger. There was Orbis Labs and two other web sites connected to it for the promotional purpose and people had to crack the code to get in.
