[edit] Keanu Reeves

Why did you remove Keanu Reeves from the Selected list of cult film actors? I think he's appropriate. If you don't answer within several days, I'm going to readd him. --logixoul 20:40, 17 September 2005 (UTC) I didn't think he was known for his cult films, but I think I've reconsidered. All I could think of at the time was the Matrix. i forgot about Bill & Ted, Prince of Pennsylvania, and River's Edge.

Heh, I didn't know about any of his films except "The Matrix" and "Constantine", but still I think even only "The Matrix" is enough. After all, this is one of the "cultest" films ever! Anyway, I added him. By the way, now when I saw your reply, I was unsure who posted it. A common (though not obligatory, as far as I am concerned) tradition in Wikipedia is to sing your either name (with ~~~) or both your name and date of posting (with ~~~~) in the end of each of your posts in a talk page. This way one doesn't have to go through the history in order to understand who posted a certain comment. I hope you'll choose to follow this model, because it eases the work in Wikipedia generally. One more thing. When you post, you are supposed to begin your message with a number of colons (":") equal to the number of your reply in the discussion minus 1. For example, what I am writing now is the third reply in the "Keanu Reeves" discussion so I began my reply with 3-1=2 colons, as you can see in the code of this page. Every colon indents the message a bit, so the structure of the discussion is clearly visible. --logixoul 07:20, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

If a person is "primarily known" for appearing in cult films, it implies they've been in more than one or gained their fame by appearing in one.

OK, I agree. --logixoul 21:27, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit on Palindromes (film)

Hey there, thanks for adding the film to that category. However, can you explain on the article how the movie is controversial? If you want to reply, you can do so on my talk page. —MESSEDROCKER (talk) 16:27, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

I see then. Can you find a source where it says this, plus find some views from the other side, then add them to the article? People might get confused that the article is in the Controversial Movie category without a reason explained on the page. —MESSEDROCKER (talk) 18:14, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Folk musicians

Thanks for the appreciation! I'll try to get to the ones you suggested. Catamorphism 03:01, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

You're very welcome.

[edit] Making minor edits

Hi there! Welcome to Wikipedia (somewhat belatedly!). I see you've been making some useful additions and edits over the past few months. You're obviously getting the hang of Wikipedia and enjoy contributing, so why not create a username? There's no charge! It's not obligatory, but it gives your edits more credibility, somehow (or that's how many people see it, anyway). Another suggestion: use the "Show preview" button more often, rather than saving pages with only one or two small changes: this avoids leaving a long trail of changes in the history (like in the List of folk musicians work you've done), which is another sign of the newbie. And please fill in a short description of your additions or alterations to the page as a helpful guide for future editors - including yourself! Also, if you have a username, after a while you'll be able to mark your edits as minor (should you find you only want to correct a misspelling, alter some bad punctuation or fix a wikilink). Meanwhile, keep up the good work! SiGarb 11:44, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Female head of government

Please stop adding in the female head of government category to Mary McAleese and Mary Robinson. They aren't and never were. Both were heads of state. 'Head of Government' in parliamentary systems means prime minister, not president. The category is 100% irrelevant in a page on heads of state. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 01:46, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
