[edit] Delaware River

You added a claim to the Delaware River article that has struck several other editors as puzzling, in need of clarification and/or a source: "William Penn delegated defence responsibilites of predominantly Quaker Pennsylvania to Delaware by setting the New Jersey border to the mean low tide line on the Jersey side of the river." I have deleted it pending clarification. See Talk:Delaware_River#Could someone please clarify this sentence? for the discussion. TIA, -- Mwanner | Talk 18:17, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Geezer

"Geezer" only means "old dude" in the USA. In the rest of the world, it simply means "dude". See the article geezer. Right? Sorted. Ta. JIP | Talk 18:10, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
