No problem. There is a Hebrew Wikipedia too, if you didn't know that already. Happy editing. Maroux 13:16, 2004 Feb 29 (UTC)

Thank You.

FYI, not everyone is convinced that the Rebbe is the Messiah. You may be very happy about that proposition, and there is a lot of information presented on the page already to that effect, pro and con, but to expect others to agree uncritically to it is to deny us our fundamental rights of expression, contrary to the policies of Wikipedia and indicative of cultlike disposition. You may certainly create your own website and say anything that you want about the Rebbe, but you will eventually be banned for such advertising here.

Hi 68, I've left an answer to your question on the Talk:Menachem Mendel Schneerson page.

Why is a rabbinical legislation that was evidently never disputed according to the Jewish code of law, not valid? (Legislated buy the crown Heights Beth din)
:Why are you in denial of all the other, non Lubavich, identifying prominent rabbinical authorities, and just to prove that, pleas look up the term "rabbinical legislation" in your "Wikipedia".
:You might argue that prominent people, such as M.R. Berger have tried to dispute His messianic sovereignty, but then again what is an argument such as Bergers worth with out Halachicle( the Jewish code of law) ground to stand on.
:THE FACT IS THAT NO ONE EVER MANAGED TO DISPUTE HIS MESSIANIC SOVEREIGNTY ACCORDING TO THE JEWISH CODE OF LAW, which in Judaism is the only thing that bares significance.

The emphasis on the last sentence above is mine. Wikipedia's contributors are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostic, you name it. The Rebbe's global significance has put him out front as a public figure, and others may have opinions aboiut him, too. Not even all Jews agree on what orthodox Judaism is, isn't or should be; much less the status of one of its leading figures. Also, non-Jews are reading this page, and are interested in the story of Chabad Lubavitch. They will get more out of a dispassionate, neutral presentation of the available facets of the Rebbe's life, and wikipedia's openness is a way to get that information to them in a credible way so that people may be able to make an informed decision about him. G-d gave us free will, after all. Many people will be put off by a too partisan presentation. If the Rebbe's holiness is of the highest order as many of his followers claim, then his life story cannot be diminished by an objective account. As it is, the automatic gainsaying of the opinions (especially opinions that are presented as opinions, objectively) of others can be seen as possible insecurities regarding the validity of his teachings, and isn't something that is usually allowed to go on forever on Wikipedia.
