[edit] Crisis on Infinite Earths

Stop with the lame commentary on Infinite Crisis already!! Dyslexic agnostic 04:15, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Likewise with your additions to the Crisis on Infinite Earths article. Wikipedia articles are not supposed to include opinions, commentary, or anyone's original analysis. "It remains to be seen" is definitely not the kind of comment that belongs in an encyclopedia of fact. Tverbeek 12:52, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

You need to remember that Wikipedia is a colaborative effort and by definition includes analysis and in the case of Infinite Crisis, which is not fully published, speculation. Thanks!

[edit] Sorry you guys feel that way...

As Infinite crisis is not a completed series, much of the article can include speculation. It takes nothing away from what is already there. Sorry if you disagree. Every time you remove my contribution, I'll just put it back. You need to allow room for other people, as I did not actually remove anyone's contribution. The world is big enough for the both of us. First, last and only time I'm going to address it. Whenever you remove it, I'll put it back. i have all day.

Wikipedia does include opinion, analysis and speculation. My speculation is clearly presented as just that. But it's speculation on a series that isn't completed, and has a basis in fact. What you suggest would be like discussing the FACT of the existence of a painting called Guernica with no discussion as to how Picasso my have come about painting it. - unsigned by 68.161.86.144

Further, I've contacted Wikipedia and let them know that you guys are basically bein disruptive. If you don't agree with what I've put down, put down an opposing view. But don;t just be petty and remove what I've contributed. Be a mensch. - unsigned by 68.161.86.144

(a) learn to sign your posts here. (b) I have made changes which I hope satisfy you. Dyslexic agnostic 15:40, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, but your changes to Crisis, in my opinion, are still just because you happen to disagree and you think you have some sort of proprietary ownership of this article. You don't. Your changes are not constructive. The section my comments are included in are, by nature, speculative, as the series is not completed.

However, in the Infinite Crisis article, i have sub headed my comments clearly in a section called SPECULATION. I consider this a compromise. Wikipedia does not belong to you. Again, I havent removed ANY of your thoughtful contributions and I simply expect the same courtesy. - unsigned by 68.161.86.144

Wikipedia does not welcome speculation. Persist in violating this policy and you will be blocked from editing. I don't see where or how you've "contacted Wikipedia", but if you mean you've e-mailed an administrator, and this is true, I'm glad, because maybe they'll be able to explain Wikipedia policy more clearly than Dys-Ag and I have. Tverbeek 16:32, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

This article or section contains information about a scheduled or expected comic book release, or a series already in progress. It is likely to contain information of a speculative nature and the content may change dramatically as the product release approaches and more information becomes available.

There you go, nutsy. Enjoy that crow sandwich.

Third party input here. Besides continually thinking that your copy and paste bit should be included as is and rejecting attempt(s) at a a compromise ( pre edits , post edits ) (see comment at the bottom of any edit page: If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly... , do not submit it. ) and that you're going against official Wiki policy, including speculation ("It remains to be seen"), namecalling ("You're the vandal vandalizing, vandal", also the above comment "There you go, nutsy. Enjoy that crow sandwich.") and vandalizing other people's userpages ( [1] [2] [3] ), Wikipedia is supposed to be a cooperative project. If you, the aggressor, can't cooperate with anyone, then don't submit your work. --Pentasyllabic 21:20, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] clearly

the little note you put up refers to speculation on issues of fact, not art. Such as not speculating that you have been involved in the JFK assassinatin. However, see that notice atop the Infinite Crisis article? Ahhh, it feels so good to be 100% right. Not that you would know anything about that, but trust me, it's super duper sweet. Ahhh!

Information of a speculative nature, not just pure speculation.--Toffile 17:13, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
To elaborate I believe that if tthere is speculation, it should be about the events that are to pass in Infinite Crisis. I do not think it is right to add speculation about what will happen post-IC, as we're trying to write an encyclopedia, and not trying to insert opinions on what is going to happen.--Toffile 17:32, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

As I said, I filed a 3RR against you. Please see [4]. --Toffile 17:14, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

And I asked for arbritration. I wonder who will be percieved as the more reasonable party. Unsigned by 68.161.86.144

not you. You are a vandal and a thug. Dyslexic agnostic 17:50, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

The fact that you're editing anonymously doesn't diminish your rights to edit, but it does diminish your credibility as an editor. And I might add that gloating over how "right" you think you are isn't helping, either. You say that you've requested arbitration, but all I can see is that you picked another Wikipedia editor (seemingly at random) and asked them to help you; that's not "arbitration". I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution and Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration if that's the route you really want to take. And by the way, you don't have the right to demand that your edits - which are opposed by at least three other editors - remain in the article until arbitration is completed; Wikipedia simply doesn't work that way. Tverbeek 18:43, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Dude, you are probably right about the outcome of infinite crisis, but give this up, you aren't going to win. Save your energy--70.182.219.158 18:46, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Royboycrashfan 19:49, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
